CathScout - Miniature Tracking Sensor at the Tip of a Catheter

The CathScout is a miniature tracking sensor that can be integrated at the tip of a catheter. The sensor provides the location and orientation of the tip of the catheter. The use of MRI to guide catheterization is the focus of the work of several leading clinical research groups - at the NIH, the Brigham and Women's Hospital and the Mass General Hospital in Boston, in addition to the Hopkins group.
